1. General Agreement

2. Products and Pricing

We specialize in the sale of high-quality used engines and gearboxes.

• Product Condition: All products are sold as used items unless explicitly stated otherwise. While we rigorously test our stock, buyers must understand that used mechanical parts carry inherent wear and tear.
• Pricing: All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT). We reserve the right to modify prices without prior notice.
• Availability: Stock availability is subject to change. If an item is purchased but out of stock, we will offer a suitable replacement or a full refund.

3. Payments

We offer secure payment options to ensure a safe transaction process. Full payment must be received and cleared in our bank account before any goods are dispatched or released.

• Accepted Methods: We accept payments via PayFast (Credit/Debit cards, Instant EFT) and PayJustNow (instalment plans).
• Ownership: All goods remain the sole property of LDR Engines and Gearboxes until paid for in full.

4. Delivery and Risk

We arrange nationwide delivery across South Africa using trusted third-party courier services.

• Dispatch: Orders are typically dispatched within 24 to 48 hours of payment clearance.
• Transfer of Risk: The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer once the courier has collected the unit from our premises, or once the customer collects the unit directly.
• Delays: LDR Engines and Gearboxes cannot be held liable for any delivery delays caused by the courier company, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Warranties and Returns

All engines and gearboxes are sold subject to our strict Warranties & Returns Policy. Installation must be carried out by a qualified, RMI-registered mechanic, and specific service protocols (such as replacing the oil, timing belt, and water pump) must be followed for the warranty to remain valid. 6. Limitation of Liability

LDR Engines and Gearboxes shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

• We are not responsible for towing fees, vehicle hire, downtime, or lost profits.
• We are not liable for any third-party mechanic labour costs incurred during fitment, removal, or repair of our units.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
